What do I do during winter?

Although I've kept my eyes on my garden, there are not many things left in the garden for me to do during winter.  Instead of going idle, I actively watch what kind of birds come to feed on a feeder through the breakfast nook window.  I score how cold hardy plants are not just surviving but sometimes overgrowing in my plots. I cook things and stuffs that I dried, pickled, and prepared during warm months.  I daydream and plan what kind trees and how many and where I am going to plant.

losing favor

Many of my favorite blogs have stopped putting a new post. Probably blogging years had lost its shining armor.

This morning the meadow was white with hard frost.
We had a few light frost, but this is most severe frost so far.
